Amplify Austin Day is right around the corner! Starting at 6 p.m. CST on March 1st, we have 24 hours to raise some much needed funds for Proclaim Justice’s mission to free victims of wrongful conviction.
Produced by I Live Here I Give Here, Amplify Austin Day is a fun way for donors to raise funds for Austin-area non-profits whose missions are important to them. It’s a pretty big deal here in the ATX and millions of dollars for worthy non-profits are raised every year.
Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 during those 24 hours and we need your help doing it. Some really cool news is your donations and efforts will be doubled by our outstanding board member, Jason Flom. Jason has agreed to match all funds raised on Amplify Austin Day up to $20,000! Also, the more donors and the more money we raise, the better chance we have of winning some of the bonus prizes given out.
What you can do:
1. Donate during those 24 hours. You can donate a minimum of $10, but we encourage minimum donations of $25. If you’re worried you’ll forget, you can go ahead and schedule a donation now from the same link.
2. Set up a fundraising page of your own, making Proclaim Justice your charity of choice. You can then send that link to friends and acquaintances who would want to chip in. There might even be a cool token of appreciation for the person who raises the most money and the person who has the most individual donors.
3. Spread the word! Please share this post or your own Amplify fundraising page with friends, family, and social media followers. Also, you can regram and retweet from our Proclaim Justice accounts. Use the hashtag #AmplifyATX in your posts.
